Nuclear Family and Extended Family
Families are mainly of two types. Nuclear family and extended family. A nuclear family consists of a husband, wife and their children. An extended family consists of parents, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Nowadays, most people prefer nuclear families. Nuclear families are less troublesome, whereas extended families are considered noisy. Extended families have more people, so there can be troublesome situations. The cost of living is increasing day by day. So, people do not prefer to live with extended families. Children in nuclear families can get good food and education. But the nuclear family also has some disadvantages. Children in nuclear families may feel lonely and bored. Because there are only a few members. On the other hand, children in an extended family do not feel lonely because they always have companions. So, both nuclear family and extended family have some merits and demerits.
একক পরিবার এবং যৌথ পরিবার
পরিবার প্রধানত দুই ধরনের। একক পরিবার এবং যৌথ পরিবার। একক পরিবারে স্বামী, স্ত্রী ও সন্তান থাকে। একটি বর্ধিত পরিবার বাবা-মা, সন্তান, দাদা-দাদি, খালা, চাচা ইত্যাদি নিয়ে গঠিত। আজকাল বেশির ভাগ মানুষই একক পরিবার পছন্দ করেন। একক পরিবারগুলি কম ঝামেলাপূর্ণ, অন্যদিকে বর্ধিত পরিবারগুলি কোলাহলপূর্ণ বলে মনে করা হয়। বর্ধিত পরিবারগুলিতে আরও বেশি লোক থাকে, তাই ঝামেলাপূর্ণ পরিস্থিতি হতে পারে। জীবনযাত্রার ব্যয় দিন দিন বেড়েই চলেছে। সুতরাং, লোকেরা যৌথ পরিবারের সাথে থাকতে পছন্দ করে না। একক পরিবারের শিশুরা ভালো খাবার ও শিক্ষা পেতে পারে। তবে একক পরিবারের কিছু অসুবিধাও রয়েছে। একক পরিবারর শিশুরা একাকীত্ব ও একঘেয়ে বোধ করতে পারে। কারণ হাতে গোনা কয়েকজন সদস্য রয়েছেন। অন্যদিকে, একটি বর্ধিত পরিবারের শিশুরা একাকীত্ব বোধ করে না কারণ তাদের সর্বদা সঙ্গী থাকে। সুতরাং, একক পরিবার এবং যৌথ পরিবার উভয়েরই কিছু সুবিধা এবং অসুবিধা রয়েছে।
