Dear Sakib,
The Padma multipurpose bridge is a road bridge across the Padma River. It connects the southwest part of the country with the capital. The bridge was opened on June 25, 2022, by the honorable PM Sheikh Hasina. The bridge is 6.15 KM long and 18.10 M wide. It has a four-lane highway on the upper level and a single-track railway on the lower level. The whole project's cost is about 3.868 billion USD. The bridge was constructed with its own funds. Besides, it is the largest bridge in Bangladesh and the 6th largest bridge in the world. The bridge is a symbol of our pride and honour.

পদ্মা বহুমুখী সেতু পদ্মা নদীর উপর একটি সড়ক সেতু। এটি দেশের দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিমাঞ্চলকে রাজধানীর সাথে সংযুক্ত করেছে। ২০২২ সালের ২৫ জুন মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা সেতুটি উদ্বোধন করেন। সেতুটি ৬.১৫ কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ এবং ১৮.১০ মিটার চওড়া। এটির উপরের স্তরে একটি চার লেনের মহাসড়ক এবং নীচের স্তরে একটি একক ট্র্যাক রেলপথ রয়েছে। পুরো প্রকল্পের ব্যয় প্রায় ৩.৮৬৮ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলার। নিজস্ব অর্থায়নে সেতুটি নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। এছাড়া এটি বাংলাদেশের বৃহত্তম সেতু এবং বিশ্বের ৬ষ্ঠ বৃহত্তম সেতু। সেতুটি আমাদের গৌরব ও সম্মানের প্রতীক।
