A Street accident has become a common incident in Bangladesh. We get news of road accidents in the newspapers every day. It is caused by buses, trucks, rickshaws, baby taxis, etc. This problem is increasing day by day. It is a major problem in our country. Thousands of people die each year in road accidents. There are many causes of road accidents. Reckless driving is the main cause of road accidents. Moreover, the traffic control system is not developed in our country. As a result, most of the drivers disobey the traffic rules. Our roads are not wide enough for vehicles. On the other hand, the passerby is also busy. They do not use foot over bridges and zebra crossings. As a result, the number of accidents is increasing. To solve this problem, traffic rules must be imposed strictly. Widen road should be constructed. Pedestrians and drivers need to be more aware. The government also has to take effective steps to solve this problem.
একটি সড়ক দুর্ঘটনা
বাংলাদেশে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনা একটি সাধারণ ঘটনা হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। আমরা প্রতিদিন সংবাদপত্রে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনার খবর পাই। এটি বাস, ট্রাক, রিকশা, বেবি ট্যাক্সি ইত্যাদির কারণে ঘটে। এই সমস্যা দিন দিন বাড়ছে। এটা আমাদের দেশের একটি বড় সমস্যা। প্রতি বছর সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় হাজার হাজার মানুষ মারা যায়। সড়ক দুর্ঘটনার অনেক কারণ রয়েছে। চালকদের বেপরোয়া গাড়ি চালানোই সড়ক দুর্ঘটনার প্রধান কারণ। তাছাড়া আমাদের দেশে ট্রাফিক নিয়ন্ত্রণ ব্যবস্থা গড়ে ওঠেনি। ফলে অধিকাংশ চালকই ট্রাফিক নিয়ম অমান্য করে। আমাদের রাস্তাগুলি যানবাহনের জন্য যথেষ্ট প্রশস্ত নয়। অন্যদিকে পথচারীরাও ব্যস্ত। তারা ফুট ওভার ব্রিজ বা জেব্রা ক্রসিং ব্যবহার করে না। ফলে দুর্ঘটনার সংখ্যা বাড়ছে। এ সমস্যা সমাধানে ট্রাফিক আইন কঠোরভাবে আরোপ করতে হবে। প্রশস্ত সড়ক নির্মাণ করতে হবে। পথচারী ও চালকদের আরও সচেতন হতে হবে। সরকারকেও এ সমস্যা সমাধানে কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ নিতে হবে।
